Do I need special tools or training to install the sensors?
No. StarkCreteX sensors are designed for fast, straightforward installation at the point of casting. Placement takes under five minutes per element using standard site equipment. We provide full installation guidance, and our technical team is available to support your first deployment in person if needed.
Where and how do I access my monitoring data?
From anywhere, on any device. The StarkCreteX platform is fully cloud-based and accessible through a web browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile. The dedicated mobile app (iOS and Android) is optimised for use on site in direct sunlight.
How accurate is the estimated compressive strength?
Strength estimation is based on the internationally established maturity method (ASTM C1074), applied using a calibrated strength-maturity relationship for your specific concrete mix. Accuracy is significantly better than conservative textbook predictions and broadly consistent with field-cured cube results — with the major advantage of being continuous and real-time rather than a single data point at a fixed age.
Can I monitor multiple elements or pours at the same time?
Yes. The platform supports simultaneous monitoring of any number of active elements across one or more projects. There is no practical limit to the number of concurrent monitoring sessions.
Will this replace my existing concrete testing programme?
StarkCreteX is designed to complement your quality regime and substantially reduce the volume of routine destructive testing required — not to replace all testing where it is mandated by specification or regulation. For projects where break tests are a contractual or regulatory requirement, StarkCreteX provides additional intelligence alongside the testing programme, not as a replacement for it.
Is my project data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256. Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with enterprise-grade availability and backup. You retain full ownership of all your project data at all times.
What support do you provide during a project?
StarkCreteX provides active technical support throughout your monitoring period. Our team is available to assist with data interpretation, alert investigation, threshold configuration, and report preparation whenever you need us.
